I've Volunteered To Be a Mentor, Now What?
If we get a request from a Survivor who has a similar diagnosis, we will give them your contact information you've submitted for our use. We will also let you know the information they have provided. If you do not hear from them, you may want to reach out first.

I've Signed Up To Hear From a Volunteer Mentor, Now What?
Shortly after we receive your request, we will forward your information to a Mentor who has a similar diagnosis. If we do not have one available, we will let you know and offer you another Mentor. It is then up to you how you wish to proceed.
How & When Will a We Communicate?
How and when you will communicate is completely up to you and your Mentor. You can communicate by phone, text, email, social platforms, and/or mail. Our Mentors do select a preference for both. When you initially chat, you can then discuss future chats.

Our Volunteer Mentors are not medical professionals and you should always consult your doctor for medical advice. Our VMs are women who have been where you are at one point in their lives and they have graciously offered their time to speak with you. Our hope is to calm your fears, answer questions you may have, and just be an open ear to listen.
